A performance by David Raymond Conroy about realism and conviction in public presentations. Conroy uses photography, sculpture and performance in his investigation into the aesthetics of sincerity.
David Raymond Conroy (born Reading, 1978) lives and works in London. Recent group exhibitions include The Language of the Flowers and the Stars, Cubitt (2012); Anti-Photography, Focal Point Gallery, Southend-on-Sea (2011); New Works UK, LUX Touring Programme (2010). Most recently, Conroy curated the exhibition A Plea for Tenderness at Seventeen Gallery (2012).
