Inspired by Lynette Yiadom-Boakye's exhibition, artist Boo Saville invited workshop participants to collaborate and make a huge black and white wall mural using their own shadows. The life-size shadows were then decorated with props such as eyes, mouths, noses and accessories to make a large-scale group collage.
Boo Saville studied at the Slade School of Art, London. In both 2007 and 2011 she was a nominee for the Sovereign Painting Prize, and in 2008 she worked on a residency at the Cite des Arts, Paris. She has had solo exhibitions with Trolley Gallery, London; Martin Summers Fine Art, London; Other Criteria, London; and Studio Visconti, Milan. She has a forthcoming exhibition with T J Boulting in September 2012. Saville lives and works in London.
