Talk, Stop Play Record: Commissioning and Producing Artists’ Moving Image
Saturday 27 May, 2pm

Artist Maeve Brennan is joined by Ali Roche, Producer, Spike Film and Video at Spike Island, and Ellen Greig, Exhibitions and Events Curator at Chisenhale Gallery, to discuss the process of commissioning and producing moving image works by artists.

Stop Play Record is a three-year programme for young filmmakers aged 16-24 years living in London. This is a joint initiative between Arts Council England and Channel 4 which sees the ICA lead a London Network in partnership with Bloomberg New Contemporaries, Chisenhale Gallery, DAZED, Kingston University and SPACE. Associated screenings, talks and events take place at Chisenhale Gallery and across London, offering young people access to expert-led opportunities and space to discuss their ideas.

This event is free to attend but booking is recommended. To reserve a place please visit our Eventbrite page here.
