This week we’re announcing the start of a new research project that will be taking place at Chisenhale over the next six months into Artists' professional development and gallery membership programmes. Rebecca Gordon-Nesbit has been appointed to produce an in-depth comparative study of existing programmes at arts organisations throughout the UK and internationally. The research will culminate in the publication of a detailed case study presenting the findings. Chisenhale Gallery has received a grant from the Paul Hamlyn Foundation to develop this project.

This is the final week of Céline Condorelli's exhibition and on Wednesday 18 June Condorelli will launch her new book, The Company She Keeps, co-published by Chisenhale Gallery, Book Works and Van Abbemuseum, Eindhoven. Copies will be available to purchase on the night and there will be a talk with Condorelli and sociologist Avery Gordon. Places are still available, for more information and to book click here.

On Saturday 21 June and Sunday 22 June, Public Astronomer Marek Kukula will lead two day-long workshops over the Summer Solstice weekend, as part of Cathy Haynes’s Chisenhale Gallery Victoria Park Residency 2013-14.
