Congratulations to Camille Henrot who has received the Nam June Paik Award 2014. 

Camille Henrot's exhibition The Pale Fox, was presented at Chisenhale Gallery in February 2014 and commissioned and produced in partnership with Kunsthal Charlottenborg, Copenhagen; Westfälischer Kunstverein, Münster; and Bétonsalon – Centre for art and research, Paris, where the exhibition is currently on view until 20 December.

The Turner Prize 2014 exhibition opens this week at Tate Britain and includes Duncan Campbell and James Richards, who had an exhibitions at Chisenhale Gallery in 2009 and 2011 respectively. The winner will be announced on 1 December. 

Join us on Tuesday 30 September from 9-10:30am for a coffee morning and special viewing of our current exhibition, Modern Family by Ed Fornieles, with cakes generously provided by the East End Women's Institute.

This weekend Chisenhale Dance Space, Chisenhale Gallery and Chisenhale Studios present a weekend of activities throughout our shared building to coincide with the national Fun Palaces 2014 campaign. 

On Saturday 4 October at 3pm, Lucien Young, comedian and co-writer of BBC3’s Siblings, will lead a workshop in sitcom writing. On Sunday 5 October at 2pm, we present a Propeller event, Spotlight On – Next Steps, organised in partnership with Art Licks Weekend 2014. Hear from artists, art professionals and cultural entrepreneurs about the routes they’ve chosen into their careers and how they make it work.
