Thank you to everyone who came to the panel discussion chaired by Sophie Oxenbridge - marking the launch of Chisenhale Gallery’s online archive, 1986-1990 - on Thursday 19 March. An audio recording of the event will be available to download from our website soon. 

Join us on Thursday 28 March from 7pm for an event as part of our Offsite programme, during which writer Travis Elborough, Chisenhale Gallery Victoria Park Residency artist, will introduce his residency project. Elborough’s research focuses on the social history of parks and the politics and technological innovations associated with sport and leisure activities. On Saturday 28 March, 3pm we are hosting a panel discussion for the launch of Mapping Artists’ Associate Programmes in the UK, a new report by independent researcher Rebecca Gordon-Nesbitt, commissioned by Chisenhale Gallery and supported by Paul Hamlyn Foundation. There are still places left for our next 21st Century event on Tuesday 31 March, 7pm. London-based artist Jess Wiesner will present a live event using performance, video and sound. Interweaving autobiography, pop-culture and the strategies of stand-up comedy, Wiesner explores identities, desires and material urges to consider liminality as a survival strategy for the digital age.
