Thank you to everyone who came to the screening event, Picture a Park - films on running, football and the pre-Olympic East End with Chisenhale Gallery Victoria Park Residency artist Travis Elborough on Tuesday 12 May.  

Travis’s project Games for May continues this week with two events in Victoria Park. On Tuesday 19 May Elborough is in conversation with Ken Worpole, Senior Professor at The Cities Institute, London Metropolitan University. Join us on Sunday 24 May at 2pm for Travis’s Model Boat Regatta – a workshop on the mechanics of model boating. For more information about the events and to reserve a place please click here

We're pleased to announce the details of our next Interim event, a major new performance by Wojciech Kosma and his collaborators. The performance on Saturday 13 June is preceded by a series of public rehearsals and a discussion between the performers chaired by artist and writer, Hannah Black. This week is the last chance to submit an idea for Stop Play Record. Chisenhale Gallery is partnering with the ICA on this new three year programme for creative young people and filmmakers aged between 16 and 24 living in London. Submit your idea for a short film between 90 seconds and 3 minutes and you could be selected to produce a film with Chisenhale Gallery. The deadline for submissions is Monday 25 May.
