An audio recording of Leah Clement's work Beside, that took place on 8 December 2015 as part of our 21st Century programme, is now available on our website. Beside builds on Clements' research into empathy and intimacy and looks specifically at the scientific phenomena of Takotsubo cardiomyopathy and quantum entanglement. The open call for applications for the second year of the STOP PLAY RECORD programme is now live. STOP PLAY RECORD is a three year programme (2015 -18) for young people aged 16 - 24, who live in London and are interested in experimental film. This Friday, 22 January at 3pm, at the Whitechapel Gallery, Jumana Manna is in conversation with artist and art historian Kamal Boullata. For more information about the event please visit the Whitechapel Gallery's website, here. Jumana Manna presented her first UK solo exhibition at Chisenhale Gallery in September 2015. Manna's film A magical substance flows into me, was co-commissioned by the Sharjah Art Foundation and Chisenhale Gallery with Malmö Konsthall and the Biennale of Sydney. It will be presented at Malmö Konsthall later this month and as part of the 20th Biennale of Sydney, opening in March 2016.
