Thank you to everyone who joined us for last week's talk at Tate Modern where Park McArthur was in conversation with Isla Leaver-Yap, Walker Art Center’s Bentson Scholar of Moving Image in Minneapolis and Director of LUX, Scotland, to discuss her new commission at Chisenhale Gallery. Video documentation of the conversation will be available online soon. Photos are by Manuela Barczewski.

Thank you also to everyone who joined us on Saturday for our seminar with speakers Ellen Clifford, member of the National Steering Group of Disabled People Against the Cuts; Nadja Millner-Larsen, lecturer in Visual Cultures at Goldsmiths University; and Park McArthur on the current climate of austerity in the UK and the informal structures of care, which grow in the absence of national infrastructures. Please join us on Saturday 20 February at 2pm for a gallery tour of Park McArthur’s exhibition led by Jonathan P Watts, drawing on his research into materials, such as plastics and gels, that were declassified following the Second World War and introduced into everyday use. Watts is a writer and regular contributor to frieze magazine. For more information and to reserve a place please click here.
To accompany her exhibition Park McArthur has produced a new limited edition artwork entitled Leads (2016). Leads comprises five individual photographs made for McArthur’s research while preparing for her Chisenhale Gallery exhibition, Poly. For more information about the edition please visit our online shop.
