We are currently preparing a new commission by London-based artist Yuri Pattison and the culmination of his Chisenhale Gallery Create Residency (2014-16), which is produced in partnership with Create. Please join us for the opening on Wednesday 6 July 2016, 6.30-8.30pm. Pattison works in digital media and sculpture, exploring ways in which the virtual world permeates material reality. For more information about Pattison’s exhibition please click here.
We are pleased to announce the 2016-17 exhibitions programme including new commissions by Alex Baczynski-Jenkins, Maeve Brennan and Luke Willis Thompson.
We are also pleased to announce that Travis Elborough, who was the Chisenhale Gallery Victoria Park Residency artist for 2014-15, has published his latest book A Walk in the Park. For more information about Elborough’s residency please click here. His new book is available here.
We would like to congratulate Camille Henrot, Josephine Pryde and Hito Steyerl for their inclusion in the 9th Berlin Biennale, which opened this weekend. Chisenhale Gallery co-commissioned and exhibited Camille Henrot’s The Pale Fox in 2014 and Hito Steyerl’s In Free Fall in 2010. Josephine Pryde's exhibition Embryos and Estate Agents: L'Art de Vivre was exhibited at Chisenhale Gallery in 2011.
If in Berlin, we also recommend visiting JULIA STOSCHEK COLLECTION’s new satellite space to see the exhibition WELT AM DRAHT, which includes artists that have previously shown at Chisenhale Gallery:
Ed Atkins, Melanie Gilligan, Camille Henrot, Helen Marten and Hito Steyerl.
