Please join us this Tuesday 12 July at 7pm for a talk by Chris Brauer, Director of Innovation at Goldsmiths University. Brauer will reflect on Yuri Pattison’s exhibition and discuss the impact of technology on the future of the workplace. Please note that this event will take place offsite at Republic at East India, a newly launched East London campus for creative talent and innovation. This Friday 15 July, 9-10.30am we will have an early morning viewing of Yuri Pattison’s exhibition with an introduction by Tommie Introna, Offsite and Education Assistant at Chisenhale Gallery. Coffee and cakes are generously provided by the East End Women’s Institute. This event is free to attend and no booking required.
To accompany his exhibition, Yuri Pattison has produced a new limited edition series. The edition comprises of a set of three individual photographs encased in an acrylic box and overlaid with a sheet of 3M™ Privacy Filter. When viewed from a specific angle, the photographs depict scans of sourced objects related to work and productivity, such as the sleep suppressant drug, Modafinil, an Acme Klein bottle and Mac computer parts.
