Thank you to everyone who has already visited Peter Wächtler’s show, Far Outat Chisenhale Gallery. The exhibition is open until 11 December, every Wednesday-Sunday, 12-6pm. We will have extended opening hours during Frieze, Monday-Sunday, 12-6pm and Thursday 6 October and Saturday 9 October 12-9pm.

Upcoming events include a conversation between Peter Wächtler and Polly Staple, Director of Chisenhale Gallery on Friday October 7, 12pm. For more information on all of the events please click here.

To accompany his exhibition, Peter Wächtler has produced a new limited edition artwork. Eat Your Own Ingredients (2016) is a hand-made leather sculpture, which references a classic top hat. Referring to the protagonist of Wächtler’s animation in his exhibition Far Outthis new edition materialises the character, allowing him to enter the physical world as a token of cartoon quality.
