Thank you to everyone who took part in our Animation Workshop, led by video production company Chocolate Films, on Saturday afternoon. The workshop was organised as part of our Stop Play Record programme for young people interested in experimental film and inspired by Peter Wächtler’s exhibition Far OutImages by Manuela Barczewski. 

Thank you also to everyone who joined us last Thursday for an early morning viewing of Peter Wächtler’s exhibition, Far Outwith an introduction by Ellen Greig, Exhibitions and Events Curator at Chisenhale Gallery.

Join us next week, on Thursday November 3, for a screening of Peter Wächtler’s film Tim and Racky (2011) in conjunction with First Thursdays, when the gallery remains open until 9pm on the first Thursday of each month. Chisenhale would like to congratulate past Chisenhale Trustee and programme participant Mark Leckey for the opening of Containers and Their Drivers at MoMA Ps1his first comprehensive U.S. survey exhibition and the largest of his work to date. Mark Leckey’s limited edition for Chisenhale Gallery Grasping & Gasping (Pylons & Nylons and Hooves & Hands and Benson & Hedges), produced in 2014, is included in the retrospective.
