The gallery is now closed while we prepare for our forthcoming exhibition by Warsaw-based artist and choreographer Alex Baczsynski-Jenkins. For more information about the exhibition please click here. Chisenhale Gallery’s office is open Monday to Friday, 10am-6pm. Alex Baczynski-Jenkins’ exhibition opens on 19 January 2017, and runs from 20 January to 12 March 2017.

Artists Milo van der Maaden and Imran Perretta visited St Paul’s Trust secondary school last week as part of Chisenhale Gallery Presents - our series of artist presentations at local secondary schools. The two London-based artists presented their collaborative work Pale News, commissioned by Chisenhale Gallery and presented in Victoria Park as part of our 21st Century programme in August 2016. The presentation was followed by a workshop with the students. To listen to van der Maaden and Perretta’s Online Commission for Chisenhale Gallery’s website, featuring extracts from the performance, please click here. Images are from van der Maaden and Perretta’s presentation and workshop.

A new page introducing the Chisenhale Gallery archive is now live on our website. Our online archive is a dynamic research resource where visitors can browse past exhibitions, read interviews from our Chisenhale Interviews series, explore our education and offsite programmes, and listen to recordings from talks and events. The new Explore the Archive page presents a selection of rotating highlights from our online archive, celebrating Chisenhale Gallery’s historic commissions. To visit the new page, please click here.
