Thank you to everyone who joined us last Thursday for a screening of Portrait of Jason (Shirley Clarke, 1967) presented in association with MUBI, and introduced by artist Luke Willis Thompson. Images are from the event, by Manuela Barczewski. 

Please join us on Thursday 3 August, 7pm for an introduction to Luke Willis Thompson’s new commission, autoportrait, currently on view at Chisenhale Gallery. The event is free to attend and no booking is required. Please also join us for an evening viewing of Luke Willis Thompson’s exhibition as part of First Thursdays, when the gallery remains open until 9pm on the first Thursday of each month. Forthcoming exhibition events include a talk by Tavia Nyong’o, Professor of African American Studies, America Studies and Theatre Studies at Yale University, on Thursday 17 August, 7pm. Please click here for more information on all of the events.
