Thank you to all the students who attended last week’s Creative Careers Day hosted at Queen Mary University, London. Thank you to all the speakers who gave presentations on their work, and to the organisations and universities who provided advice on next steps into creative careers. The Creative Careers Day was supported by the Ernest Cook Trust and presented in partnership with Queen Mary University, London. Images are from the event, by Manuela Barczewski.
Thank you also to everyone who has visited Hannah Black’s exhibition, Some Context, over the past two months. The exhibition is open until 10 December, every Wednesday to Sunday, 12-6pm and on 7 December the gallery has extended opening hours until 9pm. Please join us on 7 December, 7pm for an introduction to Black’s exhibition by Eliel Jones, Exhibitions and Events Assistant at Chisenhale Gallery, organised as part of First Thursdays.
Recent media coverage of Hannah Black’s exhibition includes The White Review, MAP Magazine, The White Pube and This is Tomorrow. You can also visit the Audio/Video section to listen to a series of conversations for which participants were invited to discuss a situation of their choice. The programme included conversations between Larne Abse Gogarty and Hannah Proctor, as well as Ayesha Taylor and Hannah Caller from the Focus E15 campaign.
