The gallery is currently closed as we prepare for our forthcoming exhibition by artist Lydia Ourahmane, which opens on Thursday 25 January, 6.30-8.30pm. We will be closed for the holidays from Thursday 21 December 2017 to Wednesday 3 January 2018. 

Our special Christmas Discount continues until 31 January 2018 with 10% off all Chisenhale Editions. Chisenhale Friends and Patrons will receive a 20% discount. We are now taking orders for collection only. All editions are available for pick up at Chisenhale Gallery until Wednesday 20 December. We are recruiting for a full time, Curatorial Assistant: Engagement. This role is part of the Gallery’s renowned Curatorial Trainee Programme, which provides outstanding training, structured mentoring and professional development for emerging curators. The role is designed to provide hands on training in curating, arts management, audience development, events programming, arts education, communications, and a comprehensive overview of gallery operations. To find out more and to download an Application Pack, please click here.

We are currently looking for performers who identify as women to work with Chisenhale Gallery forthcoming programme participant Paul Maheke on his new commission. The performers will be required to memorise and recite excerpts from a script and present amateur magic tricks to visitors at set times during gallery opening hours. The performers will need a background in theatre and/or visual arts performance. Ideally they will also have some experience in performing magic tricks, although this is not essential.
