The gallery is currently closed as we prepare for our forthcoming exhibition by artist Paul Maheke, which opens on Thursday 12 April, 6.30-8.30pm. To find out more, please click hereChisenhale Gallery’s office is open Monday to Friday, 10am-6pm.

As part of the commissioning process, a programme of events has been devised in collaboration with Paul Maheke and runs throughout the duration of his exhibition. Included is a conversation between Maheke and Paul Goodwin, professor in contemporary art and urbanism and Director of TrAIN (Research Centre for Transnational Art, Identity and Nation) at University of the Arts London, on Saturday 14 April, 2pm; a tour of the exhibition by The White Pube, a collaboration between Zarina Muhammad and Gabrielle de la Puente, on Saturday 28 April, 2pm; a sonic lecture by Nkisi, producer, DJ and co-founder of NON Records, on Wednesday 16 May, 7pm; and an early morning viewing of the exhibition with an introduction to the work by Ellen Greig, Curator: Commissions at Chisenhale Gallery, on Thursday 31 May, 9 – 10.30am. For details on all events and for bookings, please visit our Exhibition Events page.

Chisenhale Gallery programme alumni and forthcoming programme participants with exhibitions opening, or recently opened, include: Rosalind Nashashibi and Ed Atkins as part of Common Front, Affectively, a group exhibition at Nam June Paik Art Center, South Korea; Pablo Bronstein opening at Herald St, London; Maeve Brennan and Imran Perreta, who are premiering two newly commissioned moving-image installations as part of Jerwood/FVU Awards 2018; and Leah Clements at SPACE, Mare Street, London.
