Please join us on Thursday 7 February, 6:30-8:30pm for the opening of our new exhibition by Corin Sworn, The Rag Papers. The exhibition premieres Sworn's new film, installed with synchronised lighting and sound.
The Rag Papers explores the nature of attention, reuse and appropriation. The film shifts between the perspectives of three characters who interact with a series of objects set within carefully designed domestic interiors. Sworn’s interest in the global circulation of objects and images becomes as potent as the action of the protaganists or any suggested narrative.
The exhibition is featured in the Guardian Guide. Click here to read the preview by Skye Sherwin. To read more about Sworn's work, follow this link to Colin Perry's Focus piece published in Frieze Magazine in March 2012.
