Chisenhale Gallery is located in a creative and constantly changing part of East London, full of contemporary art galleries, great food, shops and green spaces. The gallery is situated between Bethnal Green, Mile End, Hackney and Stratford – just south of Victoria Park. In conjunction with late night gallery openings across East London, during exhibitions Chisenhale Gallery is open until 9pm on the first Thursday of each month.
Chisenhale Gallery is located between Bethnal Green and Mile End.
From the West End and Central London take the Central Line to Bethnal Green or Mile End (journey time Oxford Circus to Bethnal Green approximately 20 mins).
From West London and the City of London take the District Line.
From Bethnal Green station the gallery is a 12 minute walk or take the 8 or D6 buses.
From Mile End station the gallery is a 10 minute walk or take the 277, 425, 339 or D6 buses.
Pay and display parking bays are available on Kenilworth Road, Vivian Road and Zealand Road which run off Chisenhale Road.
A docking station for cycle hire bikes is situated at the end of Chisenhale Road, adjacent to Old Ford Road. Further docking stations are also available at Bethnal Green and Mile End stations.

Chisenhale Gallery welcomes group visits from universities and colleges. An introduction to the gallery and the exhibition can be provided by a member of curatorial staff and groups are also welcome to book our studio space to continue discussions.
