Telling time by the bees and trees. A field study.
Wednesday 1 January

It’s the middle of the working week when, feeling time-pressed, many of us are out of the habit of taking a lunch hour. Cathy Haynes, Chisenhale Gallery Victoria Park Residency artist 2013-14 invited Tony Wileman, conservation ecologist at the London Wildlife Trust, to lead a walk to tune into the natural rhythms in the Park and expand our sense of time.

This event was the second in a series of field studies exploring alternative ways of keeping and thinking about time. The series is part of Cathy Haynes’s research project Stereochron Island for the Chisenhale Gallery Victoria Park Residency 2013-14.
