Chisenhale Research is a new strand of programming and archival research, which reflects on Chisenhale Gallery’s rich history of artist commissions and ground-breaking exhibitions since the gallery was founded in 1983.
Chisenhale Gallery Forum is an open discussion led by local residents, artists and activists based in Tower Hamlets, and devised by Layla Gatens as part of her role as the 2018-19 Curatorial Assistant: Engagement at Chisenhale Gallery. Using Chisenhale Gallery's 1988 exhibition Identity as a starting point, the event will reflect on local experience to consider new ways of working for collaborative and community arts practice. This event is free to attend but booking is recommended. To reserve a place please visit our Eventbrite page here.
Chisenhale Gallery is located on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible. We also have an accessible toilet. If you have any access requirements that you would like to discuss in advance of your visit, please email email@example.com
BSL interpretation for events at Chisenhale Gallery is available on request. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for further information. Please be advised that two weeks’ notice is required in order to confirm an interpreter.
