Ima-Abasi Okon’s exhibition continues until 1 September, Wednesday to Sunday, 12 – 6pm. Forthcoming events include fixing-to-use, a seminar in response to Ima’s exhibition led by curator and writer Taylor Le Melle. The event takes place this Saturday 17 August, 2 – 5 pm. We are pleased to welcome Max Jefcut as our new Front of House coordinator. Previously, Max has worked at Somerset House as Visitor Experience Supervisor and Development Assistant. We also welcome Losal Chiodak as the Genesis Young Curator, a one-year post offered in partnership by Create, Chisenhale Gallery and Tate Britain, supported by the Genesis Foundation.

Chisenhale alumni with current or forthcoming events include: Rasheed Araeen’s Rhapsody in Four Colours is on view at the Aga Khan Centre at King’s Cross, London; and Ayo Akingbade premieres her new film Dear Babylon (2019), alongside Street 66 (2018) and her Chisenhale commission, Tower XYZ (2016) at the Institute of Contemporary Art, London on Wednesday 14 August at 6.45pm, for more information please click here.
