Thank you to everyone who visited Ima-Abasi Okon’s exhibition and associated events last week, including an early morning viewing of Okon's exhibition last Friday and a roundtable discussion convened by ChisenhaleHz on Saturday afternoon. Forthcoming exhibition events include Comprendre et s’exprimer  on Thursday 25 July, 7pm, an evening of thoughts, poetry, song, dance and video devised by artist Christian Nyampeta; and fixing-to-use, on 17 August, 2 -5pm, a seminar led by curator and writer Taylor Le Melle responding to Okon’s exhibition.  For more information on the above and other forthcoming events please click here.

Tomorrow evening, Tuesday 16th July, Ima-Abasi Okon launches a new book titled '^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^' at The Showroom, London from 6-30pm-8.30pm. The publication was developed as part of ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^, 2018, by Ima-Abasi Okon for the group exhibition there’s something in the conversation that is more interesting than the finality of (a title) at The Showroom. 
Chisenhale Alumni with recently opened and forthcoming exhibitions and projects include: Céline Condorelli's solo exhibition at Pasquart Kunsthaus, Switzerland, which continues until 8 September, James Richards' Migratory Motor Complex, showing as part of Edinburgh Art Festival, and Mariana Castillo Deball, who has been commissioned by Towner Art Gallery for a new site specific work in Eastbourne as part of England’s Creative Coasts, opening in Summer 2020Congratulations to Lydia Ourahmane, who has been awarded The 2019 Ellsworth Kelly Award, supporting Ourahmane's forthcoming solo exhibition at CCA Wattis, opening in Spring 2020.
