We are now recruiting new members to join ChisenhaleHz, Chisenhale Gallery’s new programme for young people aged 16 – 20 years. The group meet twice a month, on Wednesday evenings, 5.30 – 7.30pm, throughout September 2019 – March 2020. For further information on the programme and how to apply, please click here. Chisenhale alumni with current and upcoming exhibitions include: Every Ocean Hughes, f.k.a. Emily Roysdon, who presents new performance Help the Dead at The KW Institute for Contemporary Art Berlin on the 24 and 25 August, and Patrick Staff who will be in conversation with Isabel Waidner and Eoin Dara at Dundee Contemporary Arts (DCA) on 29 August discussing their current exhibition The Prince of Homburg, which runs until 1 September. This week also sees the launch of Lucy Cotter's new book Reclaiming Artistic Research, which features contributions from Lawrence Abu-Hamden, Yuri Pattison and Curator of Engagement at Chisenhale Gallery, Emma Moore. The launch will take place on 24 August at the Research Pavilion, 58th Venice Biennale as part of Assembly of Journals, a gathering of international artistic research publications.
