As part of the commissioning process a programme of events has been devised in collaboration with Sidsel, including Sidsel in conversation with Helena Vilalta; a tour of the exhibition with writer David Bussel; and a talk on data rights with Dr Michael Veale. Apply now to join ChisenhaleHz, Chisenhale Gallery's programme for young people aged 16 - 20 years. The group meet twice a month, on Wednesday evenings, 5.30 – 7.30pm, throughout September 2019 – March 2020. Working closely with the curatorial team, ChisenhaleHz present public events in response to forthcoming exhibitions by Sidsel Meineche Hansen and Imran Perretta. Chisenhale alumni with forthcoming exhibitions include: Ghislaine Leung, who is included in The Making of Husbands: Christina Ramberg in Dialogue, a group exhibition at KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlin from 14 September, 2019 - 4 January, 2020; Paul Maheke who is included in Le fil d'alerte (The alert wire) curated by Claire Le Restif at Fondation d'entreprise Ricard, Paris as part of the 21st Fondation d'entreprise Ricard Prize; Haroon Mirza, whose solo exhibition The Construction of an Act opens this Friday at Australian Centre for Contemporary Art as part of Melbourne International Arts Festival and runs until 17 November; and forthcoming Commissions Programme participant Imran Perretta who is included in BONDS, the inaugural exhibition at Somerset House Studios' new exhibition space, G31.
