As part of the commissioning process, a programme of discursive events has been devised in collaboration with Ghislaine, including talks at the gallery and offsite events at partner organisation. Events include: an introduction to the exhibition by Ellen Greig, Curator: Commissions on Thursday 7 February, 7pm; a talk by writer and researcher Ming Lin in response to Ghislaine’s new commission on Tuesday 19 February, 7pm; and an architectural workshop for children led by Our Hut on Saturday 9 February, 2pm among others. Chisenhale Alumni and forthcoming programme participants with recent exhibition openings include: Patrick Staff and Sidsel Meineche Hansen participate in Cultural Capital Cooperative Object #2 (CCCO#2) at Cubitt Gallery, opening on Thursday 17 January; and Ed Atkins opens a solo exhibition at Kunsthaus Bregenz on Saturday 19 January. Paul Maheke opens his 2018 Chisenhale commission a fire circle for public hearing at Vleeshal Center for Contemporary Art on Sunday 20 January.
