Thank you to everyone who has visited Ima-Abasi Okon’s exhibition so far. This past weekend we were joined by The Soundhoppers, Wajid Yaseen and Mara Bueno, who led a workshop for children aged 5-11, exploring the creative possibilities of sound through play.

Forthcoming exhibition events include an early morning viewing of Okon’s exhibition with an introduction by Emma Moore, Curator: Engagement on Friday 12 July from 9-10.30am. Coffee and cakes are generously provided by the East End Women’s Institute. On Saturday 13 July at 2pm, our young peoples collective, ChisenaleHz present a round table discussion considering what, or who, defines the ‘centre’ in response to Ima's exhibition. For more information on forthcoming events please click here.

Chisenhale alumni with recently opened and forthcoming exhibitions include: Alex Baczynski-Jenkins, who presents US Swerve at the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam on 12, 13 and 14 July.
