Forthcoming exhibition events include an early morning viewing of Cite Your Sources with an introduction by Layla Gatens, Curatorial Assistant: Engagement on Thursday 16 May from 9-10.30am.

We are thrilled to announce that Chisenhale alumni, Lawrence Abu Hamdan has been nominated for this year’s Turner Prize for his Chisenhale Gallery exhibition Earwitness Theatre, and associated performance After Sfx and video installation Walled Unwalled at Tate Modern. Congratulations to his fellow nominees Helen Cammock, Oscar Murillo, and Tai Shani. This year the exhibition will take place at Turner Contemporary in Margate from 28 September 2019 until 12 January 2020.

Chisenhale Alumni participating in the 58th Venice Biennale, May You Live in Interesting Times, opening this week include Alex Baczynski-Jenkins, Ed Atkins, Neïl Beloufa, Anthea Hamilton, Lawrence Abu Hamdan, Hito Steyerl, Lynette Yiadom-Boakye, and Paul Maheke.
