Tom McCarthy & Mark Leckey
Saturday 4 December – 12am
According to the critic Laurence Rickels, 'every point of contact between a body and its media extension marks the site of some secret burial'. Visual artist Mark Leckey and novelist Tom McCarthy discuss the importance to their own work of the three-way relationship between selves, technological media and practices of mourning.

Tom McCarthy, writer, co-founder of the International Necronautical Society (INS) and recently shortlisted for the 2010 Man Booker Prize for his novel C, collaborates with artist and 2008 Turner Prize winner Mark Leckey to present a one-off event.
