Anja Kirschner and David Panos collaborate on narrative film installations that combine historical material and contemporary issues. Produced to accompany The Last Days of Jack Sheppard – their new film commission at Chisenhale Gallery based on the inferred prison encounters between 18th century criminal Jack Sheppard and Daniel Defoe, the ghostwriter of Sheppard’s ‘autobiography’ – their limited edition print brings together various elements of the film to create a dreamlike portrait of the film’s protagonists.
